Ixtur is a Finnish magnet technology company. Our technology is based on bi-stable permanent magnets, which can remain in either of their two states ("hold" or "release") without using energy. The switching can be controlled either electrically or pneumatically, and it requires only a very small amount of energy. In battery-powered applications, thousands of switches are possible with one battery charge.
Our magnets can be used e.g. in automation, lifting, robotic, welding and workholding applications.
All products are designed and manufactured in Finland.
Ixtur MAP-120R and MAP-180 are pneumatically controlled neodymium permanent magnets, which have excellent size / gripping force ratio and extremely low residual gripping capacity.
Automatic Lifting Magnet LI-120 is flexible and user-friendly, electrically controlled lifting equipment, which creates a strong magnetic holding force with a permanent magnet.
Ixtur MAP-6 and MAP-40 are pneumatically controlled neodymium permanent magnets, which have excellent size / gripping force ratio and extremely low residual magnetism.
Ixtur MRP-130F magnet is suitable for gripping parts with different shapes. MRP-130F is optimized for loads which are not in contact with the entire gripping area of the magnet.
Ixtur MRP-170 magnet is suitable for gripping parts with round and flat surfaces. It’s lifting capacity is 170 kg (includes a safety factor of 3) for flat surface and 120 kg for cylinders.
Ixtur MRP-130F magnet is optimized for loads that do not fully cover the magnet's gripping area. Additionally, MRP-130F can be easily equipped with pole extensions for wider range of different loads.
Pneumatic magnets for lifters, robot grippers, fixtures and production automation. MAP-120R’s gripping surface is optimized for parts that do not fully cover the whole gripping surface of the magnet, e.g. cylinders, pipes and irregularly shaped objects.
Ixtur MRP-46 is a pneumatically controlled neodymium permanent magnet that has good size / gripping force ratio and low residual magnetism. The compact size combined with high gripping force make them versatile for various applications including: lifters, robot grippers, fixtures, production automation, etc.
Magnets of Ixtur MAP series have a circular pole shape and are designed mainly for loads having a flat surface.
Magnets of Ixtur MRP series have parallel poles and are suitable for flat and cylindrical surfaces. The magnets are able to grip also many other load shapes.

Ixtur MRP-31F is pneumatically controlled magnet for robotic and industrial automation. MRP-31F is especially suitable for gripping ferromagnetic sheet metal.
Ixtur MRP-31F magnet is optimal for metal lifting, i.e. gripping and handling of steel plates starting from thicknesses below 1 mm.
